Scottish Esperanto Congress
The Scottish Esperanto Association organises a Congress every year, which takes place in a town chosen by the Association's President for that year. (The Association elects a new Vice-President each year who becomes the President the following year when she or he will be responsible for organising the Congress.)
The Scottish Congress is the longest running National Congress of Esperanto in the World. During the two World Wars the Scottish Esperantists were able to hold a congress even if it consisted only of a Saturday morning meeting which included an AGM.
